Heaven's Door STRAIGHT RYE WHISKEY is an award-winning American Straight Rye Whiskey, bottled at 43 per cent in a 0.7-litre bottle. As part of the successful Heaven’s Door Whiskey Collection, this bottling was developed jointly by Bob Dylan and experienced whisky experts. Although the whisky was only launched in 2018, it quickly established itself in the US as a leading name amongst premium rye whiskies. Its quality has already been recognised with several awards, including gold at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and at the 2018 New York World Wine & Spirits Competition. Like all the brand’s bottlings, this bottle also features an image of an iron sculpture created by Bob Dylan in his studio, Black Buffalo Ironworks, thus combining high-quality whisky craftsmanship with creative design.


A distinctive feature of Heaven’s Door STRAIGHT RYE WHISKEY is its exceptional cask maturation. Contrary to the classic rye tradition, the whisky is matured in specially toasted oak cigar barrels, the oak for which comes from the lower-lying regions of the French Vosges and has been air-dried there. This special selection of casks lends the whisky a surprisingly smooth character and an elegant balance between spicy rye notes and fresh citrus aromas. The result is an expressive straight rye whisky that delights both rye connoisseurs and curious newcomers alike.

Colour: Rich amber.

Nose: Orange peel, coriander, vanilla, spicy oak and subtle notes of rye.
