Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to develop. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

This particularly fruity liqueur is mainly made from the Femminello lemon variety, which is widespread in Italy and is characterised by its hardiness and year-round flowering. The lemons are harvested at the peak of ripeness and processed using traditional methods. The lemon peels are then soaked in alcohol for around 30 days to fully develop their flavours.

After separating the components and adding sugar and a dash of grappa, the result is an exceptional citrus liqueur that impresses with its intense flavours and refreshing fruitiness.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright gold.

Nose: Ripe citrus fruits.

Flavour: Sweet, juicy, light, full-bodied, citrus fruits.

Finish: Langs on the palate.
