Why the name Waterproof?

- Water, because it is essential for whisky production.

- Proof, because it is the old scale for measuring alcohol strength (in 1980 British Proof Spirit was converted to alcohol per cent).

Waterproof Whisky is like sensible outdoor clothing, both can take water without a problem.

This sherry-influenced malt whisky is bottled at a relatively high percentage by volume; its design goes back to the Scottish inventor of the mackintosh, Charles Macintosh.

A pure malt whisky blended from whiskies from top distilleries (not disclosed). In addition to maturation in traditional oak, sherry casks are also used to create this sherry bomb with a balanced character.

The Waterproof Whiskies are true batch bottlings, so there may be slight variations in character in the future as each batch adds a touch of personality.

However, all future batches will be bottled with malt whiskies from premium distilleries and with a sherry influence and at higher vol%.

Tasting Note

Colour: Warm golden yellow.

Nose: Fruity, sweet, sherry.

Taste: Complex, balanced, fruity-sweet, sherry flavours.

Finish: Langs on the palate.

Enjoy on ice, with a little water, neat or as a cocktail.
