The Whyte & Mackay Special is a carefully crafted blend comprising various single malts. These malts first undergo an additional period of maturation to allow their flavours to develop fully.

The blend is then complemented by the addition of selected grain whiskies, which are also left to mature for a few months. This process lends the Whyte & Mackay Special an exceptional depth and complexity of flavour, characterised by a harmonious balance between the rich malts and the smooth, rounded notes of the grain whiskies.
