Knob Creek Rye is made from 95 per cent rye, giving it a robust spiciness and the distinctive heat typical of rye whisky. The rye is distilled alongside maize and malted barley and matured in charred oak casks, giving it a particularly well-balanced flavour with a blend of sweet, spicy and woody notes. Ageing in the casks ensures a balanced complexity and depth, which is perfectly brought to the fore by the whisky’s high alcohol content.
