Jack Daniel’s Select Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey represents the Spitz of craftsmanship at the historic distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. This bottling does not come from a standardised batch, but is selected barrel by barrel, using only particularly characterful barrels from the upper rows of the warehouses. Temperature fluctuations are most pronounced in these upper rows, resulting in more intense maturation and a distinctive flavour profile. Each bottle thus represents an individual cask and underlines Jack Daniel’s commitment to combining traditional production methods with selective quality.


This Tennessee whisky is made from maize, rye and malted barley and, prior to barrel ageing, undergoes the ‘Charcoal Mellowing’ process typical of Jack Daniel’s. During this process, the distillate is filtered drop by drop through layers of sugar maple charcoal several metres thick. It is then matured in new, heavily charred American white oak casks. Bottled at 47 per cent, non-chill-filtered and presented in a high-quality gift box containing a snifter glass, this bottling stands as an expressive and authentic interpretation of the classic Tennessee whisky.

Tasting Note

Colour: Rich amber with coppery highlights.

Nose: Intense notes of vanilla, toasted oak, caramel and ripe fruit.

Palate: Full-bodied with sweet caramel, toffee, spices, dark chocolate and distinctive oaky notes.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm, with a dry woody note and a delicate sweetness.

Jack Daniel’s Select Single Barrel is ideal for enjoying neat in a snifter glass, allowing its complex aromas to unfold to their full potential.
