Weingut Polz, located in the south of Styria in Austria, is characterised by its ideal wine-growing location. Founded in 1896, it enjoys a reputation for producing high-quality wines, favoured by optimal climatic conditions and specific soil characteristics. Under the leadership of the fourth generation, the winery strives to preserve its heritage and continue the family tradition with a strong focus on sustainability. Responsible for the cellar and vinification, Christoph Polz relies on careful manual labour and selective grape harvesting, which underlines the quality of the wines.

Polz Sekt GM is made exclusively from Gelber Muskateller grapes, which express the South Styrian terroir in its purest form. Vinification takes place in steel tanks in order to preserve the characteristic flavours and freshness of the Muscat. After careful ageing, this fine sparkling wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork.

Tasting Note

Light green-yellow in the glass. A very promising nose of ripe grapes, fine herbs and white flowers. Very elegant and fruity on the palate with a fine, pleasant acidity. Long and persistent on the finish.
