Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with amber reflections.

Nose: Aromas of tropical fruit, honey, caramel and a subtle rum note that harmonise perfectly with vanilla and a light oak spice.

Flavour: Full-bodied and complex with notes of grilled fruit, caramel, rum raisin and a fine oak spice. The influence of the rum casks gives the whisky a pleasant sweetness and fruitiness that blends wonderfully with the traditional Jura flavours.

Finish: Long-lasting and smooth with a light fruity sweetness, caramel and a mild oak flavour.

The Jura Rum Cask Finish is ideal for drinking straight or with a few drops of water to further develop the flavours. It goes perfectly with grilled meat, mature cheese or caramelised nuts.
