Ron Malecon takes its name from the famous ‘Malecón’ seafront promenade in Havana, the capital of Cuba, which is renowned for its lively atmosphere and historical significance. The brand was founded by Marco Savio, an Italian rum specialist whose passion for high-quality rum laid the foundations for Rum Malecon. Rum Malecon is distilled in Panama from molasses using the traditional Cuban method, employing copper column stills.

Rum Malecon Añejo 3 Carta Oro is a first-class aged rum that impresses with its balanced maturation. This rum is aged for at least three years using the Solera method, which involves blending different batches in oak casks; this helps the flavours to develop in a unique way and gives the rum its delicate flavour profile.
