This rum was distilled in 2008 and matured for 14 years in selected American white oak casks. It was then given a unique finish in ex-Fino sherry casks, lending it impressive spicy and earthy characteristics with deep, complex flavours. Fino sherry is renowned for its dry, slightly salty and nutty notes, which blend harmoniously with the intense structure of this matured rum.

Tasting Note

Colour: Rich amber with golden highlights.

Nose: Complex aromas of roasted nuts, dried fruit and spicy oak, complemented by delicate hints of sherry and leather.

Palate: Intense and multi-layered with notes of honey, almonds, toffee, a delicate saltiness and subtle hints of vanilla and dark chocolate.

Finish: Lang, dry and elegant with earthy spicy notes, nutty nuances and a hint of delicate sherry.
