Isautier Arrangé Banana Flambé Rum Liqueur is a sophisticated speciality from the island of La Réunion, combining exotic fruitiness with the subtle depth of rum. With an alcohol content of 40 % vol. and bottled in a 0.5-litre bottle, this flavoured spirit is a real highlight from Isautier – one of the oldest rum distilleries in the French overseas territory, founded in 1845. It is based on high-quality Rhum Traditionnel made from sugar cane molasses, which has been refined with natural flavours of flambéed banana.

This ‘Arrangé’ is part of an innovative range that combines traditional rum-making with creative flavour combinations. The aromas of ripe, caramelised bananas, combined with a hint of vanilla and slightly toasty notes, are reminiscent of the dessert of the same name, ‘banane flambée’ – a real treat for the senses. Despite its sweet character, the quality of the rum used remains ever-present, which sets this speciality apart from conventional liqueurs.

Thanks to careful production and the use of natural ingredients, the result is a high-quality rum liqueur that delights both when enjoyed neat and in mixed drinks.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden yellow with an amber sheen.

Nose: Ripe banana, caramel, vanilla and a subtle hint of rum.

Palate: Sweet and full-bodied with notes of flambéed banana, brown sugar and gentle spice.

Finish: Long-lasting, fruity and pleasantly smooth with tropical warmth.

A delight when enjoyed neat as a digestif or slightly chilled. Also excellent in tropical cocktails or as a flavourful ingredient in desserts such as banana cake or crêpes. Combined with vanilla ice cream, it makes for a quick and tasty dessert.
