The Kowald Uhudler – the original, with an alcohol content of 11.5% vol. in a 0.75-litre bottle – is a true classic from Southern Burgenland and epitomises the region’s unique winemaking tradition. Tasting Note

In the glass, the Kowald Uhudler Das Original displays a vibrant pink hue. On the nose, intense aromas of wild strawberries unfold, accompanied by hints of fresh grapes and delicate wild berries. On the palate, it is stimulating and lively, with a juicy freshness and fine balance. The structure remains light, clear and harmonious, underpinned by a fruity lightness and invigorating acidity. The finish is fresh, fruit-driven and long-lasting, with the typical Uhudler character.
