El Recuerdo de Oaxaca Mezcal with worm is an authentic Mexican spirit that reflects the tradition and culture of Oaxaca. This mezcal is made from 100% Espadín agave and embodies the craftsmanship that has been cultivated in the region for centuries. A particularly striking feature is the mezcal worm contained in the bottle, a symbol of traditional production and a mark of the drink’s quality and origin.

Production follows classic methods: The agave hearts (piñas) are slowly roasted in stone ovens buried in the ground, which gives the mezcal its characteristic smoky notes. This is followed by natural fermentation and distillation in copper stills to preserve the aromas as effectively as possible. With an alcohol content of 40% vol., this mezcal offers an intense yet balanced tasting experience with a pleasant blend of smoke, agave notes and earthy undertones.

El Recuerdo de Oaxaca Mezcal with worm is traditionally enjoyed neat, often with a slice of orange and Sal de Gusano (worm salt) to intensify the flavours. It is also excellent in cocktails such as a Mezcal Margarita, a Smoky Negroni or an Oaxacan Old Fashioned.
