Rum Nation produces rums from different countries and regions, with each bottling reflecting the unique characteristics of its country of origin. Rum Nation Rare Rums were launched in 1999 to showcase particularly rare and high-quality rums. These bottlings are produced by the independent bottler Rossi & Rossi in Italy, which is known for its expertise and high quality standards.

This rum, which is based on molasses, is distilled at the Savanna distillery in a double wooden pot still, which gives it its special depth. After distillation, it is first matured in cognac casks before being finished in refill oloroso sherry casks, which gives it additional complexity. As the bottlings are neither coloured nor sweetened, the rum remains in its natural form. With a limited edition of just 1,278 bottles, this bottling is aimed particularly at collectors and connoisseurs.
