Don Ramón Mezcal is a handcrafted spirit made from 100 per cent Salmiana agaves from Zacatecas, Mexico. The agaves used are left to mature for 8–10 years and produce a clear spirit with smoky notes. For every Salmiana agave harvested, the Casa Don Ramón distillery plants two more of the same variety. The mezcal is double-distilled using the pot still method.
