Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to develop. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

The Bottega GOLD Prosecco DOC Brut is a highlight of the Bottega range, made from the exquisite Glera grape variety. This sparkling wine is characterised by its elegance and liveliness, which is the result of the careful selection of the grapes. Its fine perlage and bouquet of fresh fruit and flowers make it a refreshing pleasure that is perfect for special occasions and festive events thanks to its dry character.

Tasting Note

Straw yellow with a fine perlage in the glass. The nose is refined and fruity with aromas of apples, pears and citrus fruits. Sage, acacia and wisteria are also present. Very soft and harmonious on the palate, elegant and lively with a balanced acidity. Long and persistent on the finish.

Residual sugar: 10 - 14 g/litre.

Acidity: 5 - 6.50 g/litre.

Serving temperature: 5-6 °C.

Bottega Prosecco Brut Gold harmonises very well with light starters and fish dishes.
