The Glen Moray 10 Years Old Fired Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an exceptional bottling from the renowned Glen Moray Distillery, which has been producing high-quality single malts in the Speyside region of Scotland since 1897. This special edition was developed to combine an intense oak note with classic Speyside flavours.

The whisky is initially matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks before being given a unique finish in heavily burnt (fired oak) casks. This additional maturation provides a deeper vanilla and caramel flavour, complemented by toasted wood and spice nuances. The interplay between the creamy sweetness of the bourbon cask and the smoky spice of the burnt oak casks makes this single malt a wonderfully balanced pleasure.

With an alcohol content of 40% vol., this whisky is accessible, yet complex enough to delight lovers of more intense wood flavours.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber.

Nose: Sweet vanilla and caramel, combined with toasted aromas, roasted nuts and subtle spicy notes.

Flavour: Full-bodied and smooth with notes of toffee, dark chocolate, honey and spicy oak, accompanied by a hint of smoke.

Finish: Medium length and pleasantly warming with a blend of vanilla, toasted wood and subtle spice.
