Originally known as ‘Tatra tea’, this tea originates from the Tatra Mountains, a stunning part of the Carpathian mountain range in Eastern Europe. In the past, people in this region firmly believed that there was a specific medicinal herb for every ailment. The ingredients for their ‘healing potions’ were simple and effective: hot water was mixed with honey, garlic, tallow and alcohol to achieve healing effects.

This tradition lives on today in Tatratea Liqueur, which is made using black tea from India, oak wood shavings and carefully selected herbs and spices. This modern liqueur preserves the essence of the original recipe and combines it with contemporary flavours.

The Aronia & Blackcurrant Tea Liqueur is enhanced by the addition of intense notes of aronia and blackcurrant, which give it its unique and fruity aroma.

Nose: Sweetish, dried berries.

Palate: Slightly bitter, sweet and tart, hints of chocolate, berries.
