This whisky was created to mark the 50th anniversary of Judas Priest and their iconic music. As one of heavy metal’s most influential bands, Judas Priest have forged a spiritual and musical connection with this whisky that reflects the essence of their music.

The British Steel whisky is made from 100 per cent pure barley malt and double-distilled in genuine Scottish pot stills, giving it a particularly pure and complex profile. Maturation takes place 72 per cent in ex-bourbon casks and 28 per cent in American white oak casks, giving the whisky a balanced blend of vanilla, woody and spicy aromas. Limited to 12,000 bottles worldwide, this whisky is a highly sought-after collector’s item.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with a hint of amber.

Nose: Aromas of vanilla sweetness, oak, caramelised fruit and a hint of spice from ageing in American oak casks.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex, with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, dried fruit and a delicate oaky spice that blends perfectly with the bourbon cask notes.

Finish: Long-lasting and warm with a pleasant woody and vanilla sweetness, as well as a subtle spicy kick.

The Judas Priest British Steel Single Malt Whisky is excellent enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to allow the flavours to unfold even further. It pairs perfectly with mature cheese, grilled meat or dark chocolate to bring out its complex flavours.
