Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber with a reddish tinge.

Nose: Intense and warm, with notes of raisins, dates, vanilla and candied orange peel. Accompanied by subtle oak spice and an elegant sherry sweetness.

Palate: Full-bodied, fruity and harmonious, with flavours of dark caramel, dried fruit, almonds and a hint of cinnamon. The sweetness of the PX finish is well-balanced and complex.

Finish: Long and smooth with notes of dried figs, muscovado sugar, a hint of spice and sherry oak.

The Naga Shani PX Cask Finish pairs superbly with dark chocolate with sea salt, candied fruit or roasted almonds. This rum also reveals its full flavour when paired with Asian-inspired dishes such as duck in plum sauce, sweet-and-spicy pork or caramelised tofu.
