The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is situated in the Roero region, in the municipality of Piobesì d’Alba, a few kilometres from Alba.

What makes Grappa Sibona special is that it holds a special distilling licence, UTF No. 1.

Grappa Piemontese is produced from Moscato pomace made from freshly harvested grapes, which are selected by Sibona during the harvest.

Distillation takes place entirely on-site in copper stills, whilst ageing takes place over a long period in stainless steel tanks. A very long ageing process, initially in medium-sized and then in smaller oak barrels, brings this grappa to perfection.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Rich, floral, fruity.

Palate: Smooth, elegant, with notes of nutmeg, lilac and red fruits.

Finish: Long-lasting.

Serving suggestion: Serve at 18 °C in a classic tulip or balloon glass, with or without a stem.

A perfect accompaniment to dried fruit, walnuts, almonds, desserts, chocolate or mature cheese.
