The name "Sljivovica" is derived from the Croatian word "Slivja" (= plum) and already reveals a lot about Croatia's national drink.

Sljivovica old plum brandy is produced exclusively from fresh Bistrica plums grown around the capital city of Zagreb in accordance with an old tradition. Its unique flavour is obtained through double distillation. It is then carefully matured in Slavonian oak barrels to develop its unmistakable flavour.
