HYDE Whiskey matures amidst the picturesque countryside and temperate climate of County Cork on the Wild Atlantic Way coast in the south-west of Ireland, where the coastal region offers a unique microclimate characterised by warm summers and mild winters. As the warm Atlantic current creates ideal conditions for the maturation of the Hyde Whiskey casks, the oceanic microclimate is perfectly temperate. This region, which boasts one of the mildest and most balanced climates in Western Europe, contributes to the Hyde Whiskey’s exceptional quality.

After the whisky has initially matured in freshly charred ex-bourbon casks, it undergoes a special secondary maturation in French white oak Calvados casks from the renowned, family-run Garnier Calvados distillery in Normandy. This elaborate process, which gives Hyde Whiskey its unmistakable character and flavour, results in a complex array of aromas that connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike appreciate.
