The Tomatin CÙ BÒCAN Creation #6 Highland Single Malt 46% ABV 0.7 l + GB is the sixth release in the experimental “Creation” series from the historic Tomatin Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. The series is renowned for its innovative cask maturations, which combine the gently smoky character of Cù Bòcan whiskies with extraordinary flavour profiles. Bottled at 46% ABV, uncoloured and non-chill-filtered, Creation #6 once again showcases the distillery’s creative side.


For this edition, Tomatin opted for a rare and bold selection of casks: the whisky was matured in a combination of port pipes and stout casks. The port casks impart a sweet, fruity depth with notes of dark berries and ripe fruit, whilst the stout casks add malty, toasty aromas and hints of coffee and chocolate. Together, this creates a distinctive profile that harmonises perfectly with the gentle smokiness of the Cù Bòcan range, making the whisky an exciting highlight for connoisseurs of exceptional cask maturations.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark copper with a reddish sheen.

Nose: Dark berries, cherries and grapes, accompanied by malt, cocoa and a hint of smoke.

Finish: Lang, warming and complex, with a harmonious blend of smoke, fruit and malt.
