The tequila brand "818 Tequila" was created by Kendall Jenner, the world's highest-paid model and member of the Kardashian clan. The tequilas are produced at the renowned La Cofradia distillery, which is known for its expertise in tequila production. The name "818" is derived from the postcode of Calabasas, California, where Kendall Jenner lives.

All of the brand's tequilas are handcrafted, with the agaves carefully handpicked from the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco. The 818 Tequila Eight Reserve, a 100% agave azul tequila, is a fine blend of añejo tequilas aged for up to eight years in French and American oak barrels. It is made from 100% blue Weber agave and bottled with an alcohol content of 80 proof.
