The range comprises hand-selected white rums, the brands of which are already familiar in their matured form from the S.B.S Single Barrel Selection. With the Origin Selection, however, these characterful distillates are presented in a particularly authentic, unaged form. This bottling originates from Australia and bears the KLK brand. The rum is traditionally distilled in pot stills, resulting in a particularly aromatic and expressive distillate character. The term ‘Single Origin’ refers to its clearly defined provenance and should not be confused with ‘Single Cask’.


The S.B.S Australia KLK 2023 is bottled at a robust 57% in a 0.7-litre bottle and deliberately highlights the intense aromas of the Australian pot-still distillate. The 1423 S.B.S Australia KLK 2023 can be served neat or on the rocks for an unadulterated tasting experience, although a few drops of water at 57% can further open up the intense aromas. Its robust ester and fruit notes also make it an exciting base for daiquiris, rum punches and other aromatically intense rum cocktails.
