Adrian Schleihauf is the third-generation head of the Schleihauf Fine Fruit Distillery, which has specialised in the artisanal production of high-quality spirits for over 40 years. The distillery was founded in 1982 by his grandfather, Herbert Schleihauf, an experienced cooper and cellar master who laid the foundations for the production of traditional fruit brandies.

Inspired by his cat Rüdiger, he created the Böser Kater brand, which combines a love of cats with a passion for first-class spirits. Adrian and his team are continuing the tradition of the family-run business. Every purchase of a Böser Kater gin contributes to cat welfare, as a portion of the proceeds goes towards this cause.
