This characterful Nikka 10 Years Old Yoichi Single Malt Whisky is distilled at the Yoichi Distillery, situated in the small port town of Yoichi on Hokkaido – the birthplace of the Nikka brand – and is matured for 10 years in oak casks. The conditions on the island are very reminiscent of Scotland: a harsh climate, clear mountain lakes and the availability of peat and barley.
