The blend of select malt and grain whiskies was first matured in bourbon and new American oak casks before being finished for a further six months in IPA beer casks. This extraordinary finish lends the whisky its unmistakable hoppy, fresh notes and an aromatic depth that makes it a true rarity. It was stored in the cool, damp Togouchi tunnels, a former railway tunnel whose constant climate provides ideal conditions for maturation and ensures a particularly smooth texture.


At 40 per cent ABV, the Togouchi Beer Cask Finish is harmonious, mild yet full of character. Its balance of grain, hops and delicate fruit aromas reflects the creativity of the master distillers, who combine Japanese precision with a modern spirit of experimentation.
