The Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky 40% vol. 0.7 l + GB with 2 x 0.05 l miniatures is an elegant gift edition of the popular Taiwanese single malt, combining craftsmanship, exoticism and elegance. This whisky is produced at the renowned Kavalan Distillery in north-eastern Taiwan – the country’s first whisky distillery to gain international acclaim. Only pure spring water from the nearby snow-capped mountains is used in production, lending the whisky its exceptional purity and smoothness.


The Concertmaster is regarded as a further refinement of the classic Kavalan Single Malt and, after maturing in a combination of fresh and refill bourbon casks as well as sherry casks, undergoes a finish of around six months in selected port casks. This final maturation gives it its characteristic fruitiness, creamy texture and harmonious sweetness. The combination of a tropical climate, high-quality casks and traditional distilling techniques produces a whisky of impressive depth and balance.
