Description
Description
The Grandin Brut Rosé Méthode Traditionnelle 12% vol. in a 0.75-litre bottle is an elegant French sparkling wine from the Loire, produced using the labour-intensive traditional bottle-fermentation method. The Grandin estate has a long tradition of producing high-quality sparkling wines, combining classic craftsmanship with the characteristic freshness of the Loire region. This rosé is vinified predominantly from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and, thanks to several months’ ageing on the lees, gains additional structure, finesse and a particularly fine perlage.
The Méthode Traditionnelle gives the Grandin Brut Rosé its elegant texture and emphasises the natural freshness of the grapes used. Cabernet Franc, in particular, provides a harmonious blend of delicate fruit, lively acidity and elegant structure, whilst Cabernet Sauvignon adds further depth. With an alcohol content of 12 % vol., this French rosé sparkling wine is dry, well-balanced and versatile. Its combination of freshness, delicate creaminess and traditional production makes it an excellent choice for special occasions, festive moments or as a stylish aperitif.
Tasting Note
In the glass, the Grandin Brut Rosé Méthode Traditionnelle presents a delicate salmon-pink colour with a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, elegant aromas of strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants unfold, accompanied by floral notes of roses and peonies, as well as a subtle hint of yeast-based pastries. On the palate, this rosé sparkling wine is dry, refreshing and elegant, with lively acidity, a delicate creaminess and harmonious berry fruit. The finish is fresh, subtly fruity and pleasantly long-lasting.
Residual sugar: 8–10 g/l
The Grandin Brut Rosé Méthode Traditionnelle is ideal as an aperitif and pairs superbly with Asian-inspired dishes, duck, veal, charcuterie and goat’s cheese. This French rosé sparkling wine also goes very well with desserts featuring red fruits or delicate starters. Served well chilled at a temperature of 6–8 °C, it reveals its fresh fruitiness and elegant effervescence to particular effect.
