St. Kilian Distillers is renowned for creating high-quality premium whiskies designed for an international audience. Over 170 different types of cask are maturing in the distillery’s warehouses, forming the basis for the unique Signature Editions.

Each Signature Edition is bottled individually and bears the unmistakable character of the casks used, giving each whisky its own distinct personality. The variety of cask maturation enables the creation of complex aromas and exceptional depth of flavour, which lend St. Kilian’s whiskies their extraordinary quality.

St. Kilian Signature Edition FIFTEEN is an exclusive bottling that delights whisky lovers with its intense peaty smoke and exceptional maturation in fine Amarone wine casks. This limited edition will be released on 14 February 2025 and combines German distilling craftsmanship with Scottish tradition at the very highest level.

Produced from Scottish peated malt with an impressive phenol content of 80 ppm, this single malt whisky displays a powerful, smoky character. It was matured entirely for three years in ex-Amarone casks from the renowned Lenotti winery in the Valpolicella region. The casks used, in three different sizes (50 l, 100 l and 310 l), were transported to Rüdenau immediately after being emptied in order to impart their full aroma to the whisky.

The Signature Edition FIFTEEN is neither coloured nor chill-filtered and is bottled at a robust 53.3% ABV. The iconic still-shaped bottle emphasises the exclusivity of this special whisky.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber with reddish highlights.

Nose: Fruity, red berries, ripe wild berries, dark cherries, juicy peaches, sweet peat smoke, a hint of BBQ notes, vanilla, spicy oak.

Palate: Velvety, dark cherries, juicy redcurrants, juicy peaches, creamy vanilla, a hint of cocoa, oak spice, ashy peat smoke.

Finish: Long-lasting, creamy-sweet, red fruit jam, dark chocolate, light peaty smoke, dry tannins, notes of oaky spice.
