Description
Description
The MICHAEL Yellow Muscat Vulkanland Styria DAC 2024 12 % vol. 0.75 l is an aromatic white wine from Styria that reflects the unmistakable character of the Vulkanland region in every bottle. The region in southern Austria, characterised by mineral-rich volcanic soils, warm days and cool nights, gives this wine its aromatic precision and elegant structure.
The 2024 vintage captivates with its particularly clear bouquet, typical of the Gelber Muskateller grape: fragrant, floral and with a subtle spiciness. This DAC wine meets the region’s strict quality guidelines and represents the Styrian terroir at the very highest level. With an alcohol content of 12 % vol. and lively acidity, the MICHAEL Gelber Muskateller is a versatile companion – whether with light meals, as an aperitif or for social gatherings. It is a wine that delights both connoisseurs and lovers of fresh, aromatic white wines.

- Silver at the AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge 2024
Tasting Note
In the glass, the wine glows a pale straw-yellow with greenish highlights. The nose reveals an intense bouquet of elderflower, white blossoms, citrus fruits and fresh grapes, underpinned by a subtle spicy note. On the palate, it is light, fresh and fruit-forward, with a lively acidity and a crisp, aromatic finish that lingers for a long time.
Acidity: 5.8 g/l
Residual sugar: 4.4 g/l
The MICHAEL Gelber Muskateller Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2024 is ideal as an aperitif or to accompany summer parties, light starters and Mediterranean dishes. It pairs perfectly with goat’s cheese, asparagus, antipasti, sushi, fresh salads or Asian dishes with a mild heat. It also skilfully complements fish dishes such as grilled sea bream or trout Müllerin. As a dessert accompaniment, it pairs superbly with lemon tart, apricot dumplings or fruit sorbet. Served well chilled at 7–9 °C, it reveals its full range of flavours.
