The Doppio Passo Rosato Primitivo Puglia IGT 2024 is an elegant, fruit-forward rosé wine from the sunny south of Italy. This expressive wine is produced by CVCB – Casa Vinicola Carlo Botter in the traditional wine-growing region of Apulia, which is renowned for its sun-kissed, full-bodied and aromatic wines. It is made from the popular Primitivo grape variety, whose grapes are harvested exclusively by hand once they have reached perfect ripeness.

Following the selective hand-harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery, where they are sorted, gently crushed and then fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The Rosato then matures on its fine lees for several months, allowing its structure, freshness and aromatic harmony to develop further. The result is a slightly sweet, intensely fruity rosé wine that delights with its lively character and velvety texture. With an alcohol content of 12 % vol., this rosé is pleasantly light, well-balanced and ideal for the warmer months.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Doppio Passo Rosato Puglia 2024 glows with a deep rosé hue and brilliant clarity. On the nose, there are intense aromas of ripe strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants and a hint of blood orange. On the palate, it is light-footed, velvety and fruit-driven, with a delicate residual sweetness, lively fruit acidity and a fresh, harmonious finish. A rosé that is a real pleasure to drink and exudes Mediterranean charm.
