The Inführ Sekt Cabinet Grüner Veltliner & Welschriesling is a multi-award-winning classic from the Inführ winery and epitomises the finest Austrian sparkling wine. This cuvée combines two of the country’s iconic white wine varieties: Grüner Veltliner, known for its lively character and delicate peppery notes, and Welschriesling, which captivates with its subtle floral notes and fruity freshness. The grapes come from selected Lager around Poysdorf in the Weinviertel – one of the most important regions for high-quality base wine for sparkling wine.

The blend of these two grape varieties lends the sparkling wine its unmistakable elegance and expressiveness. Produced using the Charmat method (tank fermentation), the sparkling wine retains its distinct style and invigorating liveliness. With an alcohol content of 12.5 % vol. and an extra-dry profile, this sparkling wine impresses with its racy structure, delicate effervescence and high drinkability. Inführ combines experience, meticulous care and just the right amount of craftsmanship to guarantee, year after year, a top-quality product that is highly regarded both nationally and internationally.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Cabinet sparkling wine appears a pale straw yellow with greenish highlights and a fine, persistent effervescence. On the nose, there are fresh apple and citrus notes, accompanied by floral hints and the typical, subtly peppery spice of the Grüner Veltliner. On the palate, it is dry, lively and elegant, with a well-balanced interplay of fruit, freshness and delicate acidity. The effervescence is finely woven, and the finish is long and invigorating.

This sparkling wine is a real treat when enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, as well as being a versatile accompaniment to food.
