Description
Description
The Tschermonegg Winery is a family-run business; wine has been produced on the South Styrian Wine Route for more than 120 years. The family owns 30 hectares of vineyards, spread across different Lager. These include Oberglanzberg, Lubenkogel and Pößnitzberg.
Tschermonegg Traminer Trio Südsteiermark DAC is a fascinating white wine made from a 100 per cent cuvée of Traminer grape varieties – Gewürztraminer, Roter Traminer and Gelber Traminer. These grape varieties combine their unique aromas and characteristics to create a particularly complex and aromatic wine. The wine is grown on the steep slopes of Southern Styria, where the vines find optimal growing conditions. The soil consists of fossilised calcareous marl (Opok), and the topsoil is sandy to loamy and particularly rich in humus. With a slope gradient of over 32 per cent, the vines benefit from excellent sunlight and a superb microclimate.
Tschermonegg Traminer Trio is vinified in stainless steel tanks using temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve the fresh aromas of the Traminer grapes. After maturation, the wine is bottled in bottles fitted with a practical screw cap to preserve the wine’s freshness and quality until 2031.
Awards:

Tasting Note
A brilliant golden-yellow colour in the glass. On the nose, an intense bouquet of cloves, tropical fruits and spices unfolds, perfectly showcasing the various Traminer varieties. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and aromatic, with a pleasant balance between fruity notes and the spicy complexity of Gewürztraminer. Long-lasting finish.
Acidity: 5.5 g/l
Residual sugar: 3 g/l
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C
This wine is an excellent match for Asian cuisine, spicy dishes or cheese platters featuring strong cheeses such as Roquefort or goat’s cheese. The Tschermonegg is also a perfect accompaniment to grilled chicken, fish dishes or starters.
