The Kilchoman 100% Islay 15th Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky epitomises the Kilchoman Distillery’s consistent philosophy and embodies the original concept of a single malt produced entirely on Islay. This 15th Edition is being released to mark the 2025 barley harvest and forms part of the strictly limited 100% Islay Range, which brings together the entire production process – from barley to bottling – on the island. For this bottling, 54 ex-bourbon casks were blended, sourced from the Concerto and Publican barley harvests of 2014 and 2015. This Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured for nine years before being bottled at a robust 50% ABV.


The use of Islay-grown barley, combined with a deliberately lower peat content, creates a particularly viscous mouthfeel and clearly sets this edition apart from well-known Kilchoman bottlings such as Machir Bay or Sanaig. The focus here is more strongly on citrus and malty elements, embedded within the distillery’s distinctive house style. As a Single Farm Single Malt, this bottling tells the story of land, craftsmanship and provenance, as sowing, malting, distillation, maturation and bottling all take place entirely on Islay.
