The Salzl Don Bepo White Wine Cuvée 2024, 12.5% ABV, 0.75 l, is a brilliantly fresh cuvée from the Salzl Seewinkelhof vineyard in Burgenland, which is renowned for its elegant, terroir-driven wines. Named after the winemaker’s grandfather, ‘Don Bepo’, this wine embodies the estate’s philosophy: authentic grape varieties, meticulous craftsmanship and unadulterated enjoyment.


The cuvée blends the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling, Bouvier and Gelber Muskateller. This combination delivers aromatic diversity, vibrancy and a wonderfully fresh flavour profile. The wine is matured under temperature-controlled conditions in stainless steel tanks, followed by three months’ ageing on the fine lees, which lends the wine additional creaminess and balance. Grown on a gravelly brown earth soil, the 2024 vintage offers a mineral character that is perfectly complemented by crisp acidity and abundant fruit. With a drinking window from 2025 to 2028, it offers both immediate drinking pleasure and potential for further development.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Salzl Don Bepo 2024 displays a radiant greenish-yellow colour. On the nose, it unfolds a wonderfully fruity bouquet of green apple, gooseberries, passion fruit and grapefruit, complemented by delicate notes of elderflower and hints reminiscent of strawberry and raspberry sorbet. On the palate, it is fresh, with crisp acidity, lively minerality and an invigorating interplay. Exotic fruit flavours meet delicate fruit sweetness and subtle herbal spice, rounded off by a firm structure and a flattering finish.

Served at 10–12 °C, it reveals its full range of flavours.
