Description
The ALEXANDER Aqva Di Vita Grappa Brunello di Montalcino is a fine grape marc spirit from the heart of northern Italy that represents the centuries-old art of grappa production in its finest form. This grappa is made from the fermented grape skins (marc) that are left over from the production of the famous Brunello di Montalcino wine. It is the most original and traditional distillation in northern Italy - a spirit whose name comes from the Italian "graspo" (grape panicle).
Aqva di Vita is a symbol of artisanal passion and the Italian art of distillation. It stands for the ability to create a crystal-clear distillate from a simple, solid raw material that is rich in complex flavours and fine sensory impressions. Grappa Alexander is the ideal bridge between tradition and innovation - it combines the millennia-old history of grappa with state-of-the-art distillation technology. This softens the original strength and sharpness of the distillate to create a soft, elegant and harmonious grappa that impresses with its finesse and purity.
At 38% vol., this grappa is completely transparent and crystal clear. It is not a drink for hasty moments, but for slow, deliberate savouring in small sips - a distillate that deserves time, calm and attention.
Tasting Note
Colour: Crystal clear, colourless and transparent.
Nose: Elegant and complex, with aromas of cherries, wild berries and redcurrants.
Flavour: Soft, harmonious and round, with notes of red fruit and subtle spicy accents.
Finish: Langs, fruity and elegant with a slight spiciness.
The Bottega Alexander Grappa Brunello di Montalcino is an ideal digestif and is served at 10-12 °C. It is an excellent accompaniment to dark chocolate, fruity desserts, traditional pastries such as panforte or gingerbread, ice cream or fresh fruit salads. In Italy, it is also traditionally enjoyed in a "Caffè corretto" or "Resentin", in which the last drops of espresso are topped up with grappa - a combination that combines the stimulating effect of coffee with the relaxing note of grappa. In modern bar culture, it is also ideal as an elegant base for flavoured cocktails and long drinks.
