Sauza Hacienda Tequila Plata is an authentic Mexican tequila, renowned for its crisp freshness and vibrant agave character. It is produced at the historic Casa Sauza in Tequila, Jalisco (Mexico) – one of the country’s oldest and most renowned distilleries, founded in 1873. Sauza is regarded as a pioneer of modern tequila production and has stood for quality, innovation and Mexican craftsmanship for over a century.


Sauza Hacienda Plata is distilled from the heart of the blue Weber agave (Agave Tequilana Weber Azul), which thrives in the fertile soils of Jalisco. After harvesting, the agave hearts are gently cooked, fermented and then double-distilled to produce a particularly pure, fresh and light tequila. This clear, unaged variety (‘Plata’) brings out the natural, sweet and spicy flavour of the agave in its purest form.


With an alcohol content of 35% vol., Sauza Hacienda Tequila Plata is pleasantly mild and well-balanced – ideal for connoisseurs who prefer a smooth, aromatic tequila.

Nose: Fresh, slightly sweet and herbal with notes of agave, citrus and a subtle herbal hint.

Palate: Smooth, round and well-balanced with a sweet agave core, light citrus accents and a hint of pepper.

Finish: Short to medium-length, smooth and clean with a subtle freshness.

Sauza Hacienda Tequila Plata is perfect for classic cocktails such as the Margarita, Paloma or Tequila Sunrise. When enjoyed neat, it shows off its mild and fresh character best when served slightly chilled. Culinary, it pairs superbly with Mexican dishes such as tacos, ceviche, nachos with guacamole or spicy prawns.
