Cà dei Frati Brolettino Lugana DOC 2024 is an Italian white wine full of character from the Lugana region on the southern shore of Lake Garda. It is produced by the renowned Cà dei Frati winery, which is internationally recognised for its high-quality Lugana wines. This wine is made exclusively from the indigenous Turbiana grape variety - a variety that impresses with its complexity and ageing potential.


The grapes are harvested fully ripe by mid-October, allowing them to develop their full aroma. In combination with the chalky, mineral-rich soils of the region, the result is a richly structured white wine with enormous development potential. After gentle vinification, the Brolettino matures on the fine lees, which gives it additional density, complexity and length. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., it is a powerful and elegant Lugana that is also ideal for longer storage.

Tasting Note

The Brolettino Lugana 2024 has a bright straw yellow colour with golden reflections in the glass. On the nose, it develops aromas of ripe peaches, yellow apples and delicate rose petals, complemented by fresh and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with lively acidity, fine spiciness and a long, harmonious finish that completely cleanses the palate and is infused with subtle fragrances.

This Lugana from the Turbiana grape is a versatile food companion. It goes perfectly with winter soups, pulses, pasta with light-coloured sauces, white meat and poultry. It also harmonises excellently with medium-hot cheeses and richly cooked fish and shellfish. Served at 10-12 °C, it unfolds its full aromatic diversity. Thanks to its ageing potential, Brolettino is not only a pleasure for the moment, but also an enrichment for the wine cellar.
