The Brugal Colección Visionaria Edición Limitada 02 is an exceptional premium bottling from the Dominican Republic and part of an exclusive collector's series that continues the 135-year heritage of the Brugal brand. This second edition is a tribute to Dominican coffee culture and celebrates the so-called "cafecito moment" - a firmly established ritual where family and friends come together to enjoy life and moments together.


Brugal Visionaria Edition 2 is made using molasses from local sugar cane, which is processed in the distillery's own distillery. The rum is matured in virgin European oak casks, the insides of which are toasted over a fire with Dominican coffee beans. The beans are then removed so that the wood absorbs the flavours of the coffee and releases them into the rum as it matures. This technique, specially developed by Master of Rum Jassil Villanueva Quintana, creates a distinctive flavour profile with notes of freshly roasted coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and caramel.


The combination of Brugal craftsmanship, innovative barrel management and Dominican terroir makes this rum a limited edition rarity with exceptional depth and character. Tasting Note

Colour: Dark mahogany with golden reflections.

Nose: Gentle notes of caramel, freshly brewed coffee, dark chocolate and sweet vanilla.

Flavour: Complex and elegant with nuances of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, accompanied by sultanas, roasted coffee and a fine woody note.

Finish: Medium length, balanced and smooth with subtle smoky flavours and lingering spice.
