This special bottling was developed from the award-winning Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey, which is known for its fruitiness and soft vanilla sweetness, and was given an additional maturation in Spanish Rioja red wine casks. With an alcohol content of 46% vol., no chill filtration and bottled in an elegant gift box (UK), this is the perfect example of the Dublin distillery's innovative spirit.


After maturing in ex-Rioja casks from Spain, this whiskey has taken on the aromatic profile of strong, fruity red wines. These wines are known for their notes of red and black fruits, spices, vanilla and leather, adding a new dimension of depth and structure to the whiskey. The combination of Irish craftsmanship and Spanish wine influence results in a harmonious interplay of fruit, spice and subtle sweetness - a whiskey that combines the best of both cultures.

Nose: Strawberry compote, ripe cherries, delicate cinnamon spice and sweet caramel.

Flavour: Dark berries, butterscotch, black pepper and nutmeg.

Finish: Langs, luxurious and elegant with dry tannins, fine minerality, honey and a hint of dark chocolate.
