The second fermentation takes place using the Charmat method, a traditional process in which the base wine is fermented in a pressure tank. This ensures that the natural fruit aromas are optimally preserved, whilst the characteristic fine perlage develops. The sparkling wine is then aged on the lees for several months to develop its creamy texture and elegant structure. Tasting Note

In the glass, the Henkell Trocken displays a pale, sparkling golden-yellow colour with a fine, even perlage. On the nose, fruity aromas of green apple, pear and citrus unfold, accompanied by delicate floral notes and a hint of brioche. On the palate, this sparkling wine is dry, lively and harmonious, with refreshing acidity and a creamy mousse. The finish is clean, delicately fruity and lingering, characterised by elegant lightness and a hint of minerality – a sparkling experience with classic elegance.
