The Maglock-Nagel Frühroter Veltliner 2025 comes from the small, characterful Lammberg vineyard, which borders the Gaisberg to the east. This vineyard benefits from early sunshine, which ensures good soil warming and creates optimal ripening conditions. The site is characterised by layers of loess and clay, which lend the wine its clear structure and the finesse typical of the region. The Maglock-Nagel winery works in the vineyard with great care, using traditional methods, and relies on precise vinification to preserve the stylistic purity of the Frühroter Veltliner. In this Lager, the grape variety displays its typical, light-footed profile, which is particularly evident in fresh, approachable vintages such as 2025.


The 2025 vintage presents itself as an authentic representative of the region, characterised by a balanced fruit-acidity profile and natural elegance. Its Lammberg provenance forms the basis for a clearly structured white wine that impresses both in a gastronomic context and as a versatile everyday wine. Tasting Note

In the glass, it is a pale straw yellow with delicate highlights. On the nose, it is delicately floral with a subtle hint of almond. On the palate, there is a lively interplay of fruit and acidity, which feels light-footed and invigorating. The finish is elegant, balanced and long-lasting.

This Frührote Veltliner is excellent with starters such as carpaccio, light terrines or Mediterranean antipasti. It also pairs well with light cuisine, such as vegetable dishes, herb-based dishes or mild Asian dishes, where its fresh structure comes into its own. It is particularly well-suited to delicate fish – steamed, grilled or in lemon butter. Its delicate, approachable character also makes it ideal for spring and summer dishes, evenings on the terrace and light meals where an elegant, fresh white wine is called for.
