Cà dei Frati I Tre Filer 2021 is an exceptional Italian sweet wine that is one of Cà dei Frati's most traditional specialities. The name I Tre Filer means "the three rows" and refers to a historical harvesting method in which selected grapes are harvested when particularly ripe and then gently processed. This wine symbolises a long family tradition and embodies the sweet, concentrated side of the Lake Garda region at the highest level.

I Tre Filer is made from 100% Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana) and fermented slowly after the harvest to create a perfect balance of fruit, sweetness and structure. With an alcohol content of 13%, the 2021 vintage is harmonious, soft and remarkably elegant. The style is characterised by depth, warmth and aromatic density without being heavy or overloaded. The bottling in a 0.375-litre bottle underlines the character of this wine as a speciality for enjoyable moments and fine occasions.

Tasting Note

The colour in the glass is a bright golden yellow. The nose reveals intense aromas of ripe apricots, honey, candied citrus and dried fruit. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety with a ripe sweetness, elegant freshness and fine flavour. The finish is long-lasting, harmonious and characterised by honeyed and fruity notes.

Cà dei Frati I Tre Filer 2021 is an excellent dessert wine with pastries, fruit desserts, crème brûlée or fine desserts. This sweet white wine from Italy also unfolds its special depth and elegance with blue cheese or matured hard cheese.
