The Inchdairnie KinGlassie 8 Years Old Raw Fife Single Malt Scotch Whisky in Tinbox comes from the innovative Inchdairnie Distillery and represents a modern interpretation of classic Scottish whisky tradition. The distillery from Fife pursues a consistently holistic approach from grain cultivation to bottling, focussing on regional raw materials, technical precision and new approaches to whisky production. The aim is to produce single malt Scotch whisky with a clear origin, high recognition value and noticeable complexity that consciously sets itself apart from the mainstream.


KinGlassie Raw is a heavily peated Fife single malt Scotch whisky that is distilled for just two weeks in winter each year. Only barley malt from Fife is used, which is malted with mainland peat to over 50 ppm and gives the whisky its powerful smoky character. The whisky is matured for eight years exclusively in ex-bourbon casks made from American oak, which clearly emphasises the raw distillery character. Bottled at 46.3%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring, this bottling is uncompromising, structured and authentic. The tin box provides additional protection for the bottling and emphasises the unique appearance of this smoke-accentuated edition.

Tasting Note

Colour: Straw yellow, with a light shimmer.

Nose: Lush smoky aromas, reminiscent of campfires, accompanied by dry wood and mineral notes.

Flavour: Intensely smoky, carried by sweet malt notes, integrated into a powerful, clear structure.

Finish: Langs, characterised by peat smoke, dry oak and malty sweetness.

This peated single malt Scotch whisky is particularly suitable for pure enjoyment in order to clearly perceive the unadulterated smoky character and the cask maturation in bourbon casks.
