The Bladnoch 8 Years Old Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Californian Red Wine Cask is part of the Double Matured Collection of the traditional Bladnoch Distillery and stands for a modern, flavour-oriented Lowland style. The distillery combines over 200 years of whisky tradition with contemporary cask concepts and consistently focuses on flavour, texture and origin. Only locally grown barley and particularly pure water from the River Bladnoch are used in the production process, resulting in a clearly structured and elegant Lowland single malt Scotch whisky.


This bottling matured for over eight years and, as a double-matured single malt whisky, was first matured in American oak casks before a second maturation phase in Californian red wine casks. This cask combination gives the whisky a pronounced fruitiness, depth and a finely integrated spiciness without overpowering the typical, light Lowland character. Bottled at 46.7%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring, the natural texture is fully preserved. As part of the Galloway Collection, this bottling reflects the distillery's powerful, fruit-driven Bold Galloway spirit.
