Tasting Note

In the glass, it is a light straw yellow with greenish reflections, the nose reveals aromas of ripe apple and pear, accompanied by delicate nutty notes and fine herbal spice, on the palate the wine is fresh and balanced, with lively acidity and a fine mineral structure, the finish is clear and elegant, long-lasting and characterised by a subtle spiciness.

This Pinot Blanc from the Vulkanland Steiermark DAC is an excellent accompaniment to fried fish such as zander or trout, seafood and light starters. It is a particularly harmonious accompaniment to asparagus dishes, risotto with vegetables or pasta with light-coloured sauces.
