With this bottling, Glen Scotia is expanding the Double Cask Collection of the "Port-to-Port Connection", which combines international cask maturation with the distillery's unmistakable style.

The single malt Scotch whisky is first matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks before being finished in Bordeaux red wine casks for around nine months. This special cask combination gives the whisky additional complexity and brings out the full flavour.

Colour: Natural amber with reddish reflections.

Nose: Ripe strawberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants, accompanied by a fine honey sweetness.

Flavour: Wellers of ripe red fruit, plums, spicy oak and a subtle maritime saltiness.

Finish: Langs and elegant with spicy warmth, fine tannins and lingering fruit notes.
